Museveni hosts Pastor Adeboye and wife at state dinner in Uganda

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni hosted the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, at a state dinner in Entebbe.

The Redemption Television Ministry disclosed this in a series of posts on X on Tuesday, as part of Adeboye’s apostolic visit to Uganda.

The ministry expressed appreciation to the Ugandan president and his wife for receiving the RCCG leader and his wife at the state reception.

“RCCG expresses heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni for hosting Pastor Adeboye, and Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye at a State Dinner, Entebbe,” it stated.

Adeboye’s visit also featured the consecration of Pastor Patience Museveni Rwabwogo as a bishop at a service officiated by the RCCG general overseer.

“RCCG Celebrates Episcopal Consecration of Pastor Patience Museveni Rwabwogo,” the ministry stated.

“The Office of the General Overseer of RCCG rejoices with Pastor Patience Museveni Rwabwogo on her consecration as Bishop at a historic service officiated by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye,” it added.

During his visit to Kampala, Adeboye also met with the Chief Executive Officer of Osborn Ministries International, Bishop Dr LaDonna Osborn.
